There is a myriad of things to do in Pemberton. Take a tram ride through the forest, cruise on the Donnelly River, 4 wheel drive over the magnificent white sand dunes to Yeagerup beach, tour great wineries, fish for trout in the rivers and streams, hike in the forest, enjoy great local produce, pamper yourself at a day spa or sit back and enjoy the scenery. Dont forget to explore the National Parks and bike riding trails.....Pemberton has it all!

Winter - June to August Bubbling brooks and fast flowing rivers, mossy carpet in the forest. Our kiwi fruit are in abundance or try some local persimmons.

Spring - September to November Wildflowers are abundant and fruit trees are blossoming. Fantastic time for hiking or canoeing in the forest. Kiwi fruit are still ripening on the vine and are ready for the picking. Waterfalls and rivers are full from the winter rains.

Heartbreak Trail is a 12 kilometre driving trail that descends into the Warren River Valley following the river with plenty of stops along the way to take in the beauty of this pristine environment. Tall karri trees, bubbling brooks. The one-way Heartbreak and Maidenbush trails follow alongside the Warren River, sometimes meandering level with the water and sometimes looking down from high above it. The bubbling rapids of Heartbreak Crossing and the Warren Lookout, offer a scenic picnic spot along the trail.  The Warren River is a great destination for paddlers with a series of canoe launches along the river or book a guided canoe tour with Pemberton Hiking and Canoeing

Warren River Loop Walk is a spectacular 10.5 kilometer walk trail that passes through some of the region’s most magnificent old growth forest. The trail takes you deep into the moss clad Warren River Valley where it meanders alongside the Warren River. In spring you will see colorful displays of wildflowers and in the wetter months the displays of moss and fungi need to be seen to be believed. The trail passes beautiful picnic places alongside the   Warren River at Maiden Bush, Draftys Camp, Warren Camp and Heartbreak Crossing. The walk can be started from any point and can be walked in short sections from 300 meters to 2.8 kilometers.

Pembertons Climbing Trees A series of fire lookouts were constructed in the top of huge ancient karri trees, mainly during the 1930s and 1940s. These lookouts in the treetops were an ingenious way of spotting fires in such tall forest. Today you can still climb some of these lookout trees for a bird’s eye view of the karri forest. The nearby Bicentennial Tree in the Warren National Park is a 5 minute drive from the Hawke Brook Chalets and is the tallest of the trees at 75 meters tall. The two tonne platform, 75 meters up, is reached by climbing 130 metal spikes hammered into the trunk. Enjoy a 360 degree view of the karri forest, Yeagarup dunes and the coast beyond.The Gloucester Tree is 60 metres and is 3kms from the Post Office in Pemberton. The Diamond Tree stands 51 metres and located between Manjimup and Pemberton aprox a 15 minute drive from town.

Beedelup Falls in the Beedelup National Park has one of the most amazing suspension bridges crossing the Falls, as well as forming part of the Bibbulmun Track.  Beedelup Falls drop for 100 metres, over a series of steep granite rocks. The falls are in full flow during winter and spring and can be viewed year-round along a walk trail, and from the two nearby bridges. The Beedelup National Park includes dense karri forest, mixed with jarrah, and several beautiful stands of pure marri.
